The Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum is presented in four content areas: Scientific enquiry, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Scientific enquiry is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning investigative work and recording and analysing data. The Scientific enquiry objectives underpin Biology, Chemistry and Physics, which are focused on developing confidence and interest in scientific knowledge. Environmental awareness and some history of science are also incorporated.

Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies National Curriculum

We use the Ministry of Education curriculum as our standard curriculum. In addition to the syllabus book, published by the Ministry of Education, we use selected books and booklets prepared by the teachers to support learning.

Specialist Subjects

Art & music:All elementary students participate in visual arts and music classes. The focus is on teaching students to identify and apply the basic elements of art and music. Students are encouraged to express themselves, think creatively, and appreciate the self-expression of others. Periodically, students display their projects and perform for the school community.

Physical Education

Students learn to perform a variety of fundamental locomotor and nonlocomotor skills. They also learn to manipulate objects with purposeful movements. Students begin to understand specific moves involved in gymnastics, individual and team sports. They also develop an understanding of human body systems and their functions.

ARKIStech (Information Technology)

Technology has now become the essential needs of our lives, at home and at work. ‘Computational thinking’ is a skill children must be taught to participate effectively in this digital world.
ARKISTech allows students to think computationally, that would train them to conceptualize, understand and use computer-based technology, and so are better prepared for today’s world and the future. This combination of principles, practice and invention makes computing an extraordinarily useful and intensely creative subject, suffused with excitement, both visceral and intellectual.
