Cambridge Elementary students are provided with a broad and balanced education catered especially for young learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work, and academic life.
Within the curriculum, there are plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression, and wellbeing in a variety of ways. The curriculum is flexible, so it can be shaped around how we want our students to learn. We offer the Cambridge curriculum alongside the national curriculum, as part of a bilingual programme that prepares students for entry into middle school, then secondary school through a carefully curated learning pathway.
Cambridge students are confident, secure in their knowledge, unwilling to take things for granted, and ready to take intellectual risks. They are keen to explore and evaluate ideas and arguments in a structured, critical, and analytical way. The curriculum is dedicated to developing learners who are confident, responsible, innovative, and engaged. Each curriculum framework for English, Mathematics, and Science is designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey with subject frameworks that provide a comprehensive set of progressive learning objectives detailing what the learner should know or what they should be able to do in each year of elementary education. They provide a structure for teaching and learning and a reference against which learners’ abilities and understanding can be checked.
The Cambridge Curriculum is based on the education system in the UK, but has a global perspective to develop international mindedness, and is used in over 160 countries around the world.
