Kate Moskwa

School Principal

At ARKIS we firmly believe in the development of our young people to become leaders and to take their place in the new world of tomorrow. The world is changing faster than ever before and with the skills that we are aiming to teach our students, we hope that they will develop resilience, flexibility and confidence. This is why from a very early age we start these skills which are the central focus of our educational philosophy. We are very proud of our student body and this makes our work so much more satisfying and meaningful. To see them develop and grow every day in the ARKIS community is why we became educators.

As a school we are always seeking to improve, never satisfied with where we are but always striving to be better to ensure our students and staff can be the best they can be. We provide education within an international and local context for pupils with a range of abilities. This ensures continuity and progression, rigorous assessment and a strong focus on 21st Century skills. We follow the Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with our oldest students. This leads to the highly regarded qualifications, seen as the Gold Standard of educational qualifications and recognized by all international universities.

A school would not be doing their job properly without educating a child to work with people and to contribute to our local and global community and this plays an important role in the growth and development of your sons and daughters, and of the school as well. We believe that social awareness, good learning habits, self discipline and a strong sense of responsibility are very important and take every opportunity to reinforce these good character traits.

Our students’ families are an important part of our school and I hope that as many of you as possible will take the opportunity to become involved in school life.
