It has been an extremely positive start to the new academic year and we are delighted to welcome our new and returning students back after their summer break. The school, and in accordance with the SCH Taskforce, will be adhering to the recommendations and policies as per the Kingdoms new “traffic light system”. All staff, both academic and operational, are ready for the year ahead. We are also delighted to announce another year of impressive examination performance from the graduation Class of 2021, at both IGCSE and IB. The results are the best the school has seen with six students achieving over 40 points at IBDP, with 79% of IGCSE students getting grades A starter C. These results are accredited not only to our students but that of our staff and all their hard work during a hard academic year. We believe these results will inspire and motivate all students at ARKIS to be the best they can be throughout the year.
We have 130 students, the largest cohort of students to register for the full IBDP this academic year. Our new admissions now see us welcoming 105 new students to the ARKIS Family, taking our student cohort for the academic year 2021/2022 to over 2100 students, of which are inclusive of 21 nationalities. We emphasis that ARKIS stands for that of excellence, with a promise to deliver that to the best of our abilities as staff. We have a passionate and committed faculty- both academic and operational, who believe that in giving our best. We also value your cooperation, support and trust during this academic year, knowing that we have our students at the centre of every decision we make. We strive at collective collaboration and nurture efficacy amongst our students, thereby celebrating the uniqueness and differences in each child. We strategise to build on purposeful learning and social – emotional well-being, thus building on competencies and developing a growth mindset through current learning experiences.
We welcome you all to an exciting new academic year, one that will see many new developments and learning opportunities for both staff, students, and parents.
