The Abdul Rahman Kanoo International School celebrated the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations of its national holidays. This ceremony comes with the importance of the occasion to enhance the spirit of citizenship for students.
Our celebrations on the 14th and 15th of December are not limited to spreading and sharing happy moments, rather we are working to educate our students on the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The campus was filled with patriotism and pride with red and white decorating the halls and classrooms. Our dear staff and students took it upon themselves to express their love for our Kingdom. And all students and staff came dressed up in traditional clothes.
Students from Preschool, Elementary School, and Secondary School took part in the celebrations which showcased a variety of things related to Traditional Bahraini Culture which includes traditional live music show “Laiwa”, Ship Building, Basket Making, Pearls Discovery, Henna, Face Painting, and traditional food.
It was a day to remember, full of vibrancy with songs and cheers as everyone waved their flags excitedly. Happy National Day Bahrain.
