Afterschool activities can help students develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and academically, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe and supportive environment.
Children learn to work as a team and to be self-sufficient. Furthermore, after-school activities provide an ideal environment for this type of social learning, with small groups, a sense of connectedness, and opportunities to form strong relationships among peers of the same or even different ages.
Many children finish the school day tired. In after school club, we explore a range of activities to do with our students to help them to relax and wind down after their school day.
