Thursday, October 31st, marked a proud milestone as we celebrated the graduation of ARKIS’s seventeenth IGCSE cohort! In the esteemed presence of Ms. Kate Moskwa, our School Principal, Mr. Steve Lewis, Head of Secondary School, and Ms. Sameera Abu Rumman, IGCSE Examination Officer & Deputy Head of Secondary, we applauded our students for their exceptional achievements in the 2024 IGCSE results!
Special recognition was given to students with outstanding results, reflecting their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to every student for their commitment and perseverance—your success continues to inspire us all!
Speaking on behalf of the ARKIS cohort, Kaltham Alqasim, the school’s highest IGCSE achiever, noted, “ I want all of us, students and teachers alike, to hold our heads high. Take pride in our accomplishments, our results, and all the hard work we’ve put in for the past two years. Sure, we might have made some decisions we regret. Who hasn’t? What’s important is learning from those mistakes and avoiding repeating them as we move forward. These two years have given us the chance to make mistakes, whether through assessments, unit tests, pop quizzes, or mocks, all preparing us to avoid those same errors in our final examinations. And it worked, didn’t it? The fruits of our labour are ever so sweet. We, as a batch, have yielded such phenomenal results. So once more, I say, students, teachers, hold your heads high, for our efforts have achieved greatness.”
