Abdulrahman Kanoo International School (ARKIS) was thrilled to announce the conferring of 129 students, the 14th graduation to take place coinciding with the School’s 25th anniversary. Held at Exhibition World Bahrain on the 23rd of May, the 2023 graduating class of ARKIS, celebrated with family, friends and peers under the patronage of Mr Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo- Deputy Chairman YBA Kanoo. “The students have consistently demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and community service throughout their tenure at ARKIS. As they prepare for the next chapter in their lives, we are confident that they will carry forward the values and knowledge they have attained here, and that of our late Founder and sole financial funder, Mr. Abdulrahman Jasim Kanoo. As the school community comes together to celebrate this momentous occasion, we are confident that these graduates are well-prepared to make their mark on the world and become agents of positive change in their chosen fields.”
Speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees of Abdulrahman Kanoo Education Group, of which ARKIS is part of, Chairman Mr Tariq Abdullatif Jasim Kanoo notes, “The challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic have tested the resilience and adaptability of these students, and they have risen to the occasion, exhibiting remarkable determination and creativity to continue their academic pursuits. Despite the difficult circumstances, our 2023 graduating class has achieved incredible milestones, demonstrating that their future endeavors will be successful and impactful. We look forward to seeing the astonishing paths they traverse, leveraging the skills and values imbued in them by our esteemed late founder, in what is our 25th anniversary as a school and education group.”.
Speeches were made by Dr Faisal Khalid Kanoo- Vice Chairman in which he addressed the graduants ” I would like to instill some wisdom that will guide you through your future endeavors. Always remember that success comes not only from your academic achievements, but also from your ability to adapt and innovate in an ever-changing world. Cherish the lessons you have learned from both successes and failures and let them shape your character and decision-making. Remember to embrace change with open arms, for it paves the way for personal growth and new opportunities. Equally important, cherish the value of teamwork, as collaborating with others fosters creative solutions and mutually beneficial outcomes.”
