KS3 Drama Teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Drama, Theatre, or a related field
• B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international school

Preferred Qualities

• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) / Middle School
• Willingness to teach older year groups when required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative drama lessons to secondary school students
• Plan and prepare lesson materials, practical activities, and assessments aligned with the curriculum
• Encourage student creativity, confidence, and performance skills through drama activities and productions
• Monitor and support student progress and achievement
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development
