Homeroom Teacher – (English)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature or equivalent  
• Mandatory Kindergarten/Early Childhood teaching qualification
• Child Protection/Safeguarding certification
• Proficient in spoken and written English

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting
• Previous experience working with Preschool/Kindergarten-aged children

Preferred Qualities

• Passionate, caring, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and learning activities for preschool students in English
• Plan and prepare activities that support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development
• Create a safe, positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress and maintain appropriate learning records
• Support children in developing communication, independence, confidence, and social skills
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and development
• Follow school policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding, health, and safety
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, events, and professional development
